#ToqueDelMar Principle: Touch the Sea from your room!

When we first saw Amena Mar Hotel, we were sitting on the bank of the sea looking at the hotel in front. And we realized that closeness to the sea is what makes is impossible to forget. The view from the balconies is like Gerald Darrell's 'If once you have slept on an island, you'll never be quite the same'.

We believe our room views are what makes the people always remember their stay at Amena Mar Hotel.

Although the hotel has been named Amena Mar much before we arrived, we have invested our effort in naming the company Toque Del Mar S.L. and once the full renovation is over, we shall rename the hotel, too. Amena Mar means 'pleasant sea', but what we offer is an action, not just the sea nearly. We offer to touch it. We offer to try it. We offer to savor it.

That is why in everything about our hotel services we have applied the 'touch the sea' principle: you get beach accessories for free, you get sun cremes for free, you get beach towels for free in addition to room towels, you get tap water all the time as you need it a lot when you are at the sea, you get sea view free of charge.

We upsell the rooms for the guests when they book side sea view of ueard view and we have seaview rooms available. We have applied the principles of simple design in order not to distract the guests from connecting with the sea.

Our hotel brand colors are the palette of water foam: teal green, seamint, turquiose, and grey as pebbles on the beach of S'Illot. It is like everything around us so naturally points in the direction of the sea in front of us.

The walls at the reception are decorated with the grey stones also for two reasons: first of all, they remind the sea shores of most of the calas in Mallorca, and secondly, they recall to historic times of stone mining from Mallorcan coastline. Also, the walls of reception and the corridors are decorated with great paintings of Mallorcan coast. They are here to emphasize the exquisite beauty of the sea and endless inspiration which the sea can be to a person.

The softness of colors, the bedding, the water, design, and quietness in the hotel let you fully experience the Toque Del Mar harmony and never forget it! :)
